Application to the emi kuriyama spirit award is free and open to artists and writers who live in, work in, and/or have a demonstrable commitment to Los Angeles County. We are offering two unrestricted grants each of $2,000 to one writer and one artist who is in a transitional moment in their life or work, and demonstrates a commitment to working with others.
Deadline:
The deadline to apply is 11:59 pm PST on April 22, 2020. Please submit all materials by then in order to be considered.
Decisions will be announced in May 2020.

Short statement about your work (250 words max.)
For artists: 6 work samples (images, media, links) and their descriptions in a PDF document
For writers: 8-10 page manuscript in a PDF document
